is an area event geared toward Catholic young adults. Tired of going to
church by yourself? Ever feel like you're the only person there over
the age of 17 and under 40? Yes, we know how you feel... That's why we,
a group of young adults, have started Voice Ministries. Our goal is to
"feed" you by introducing you to inspirational people your age so you
can socialize, network, than bring that inspiration back to your home
parish. There may be people just like you right in or near your home
parish, and we want to help you find them.

Planning Meeting
7:15 p.m. St. Francis Room, St. Stephen’s, Cleveland
Even
if you have never attended a planning meeting, please consider
attending. We all have skills that are worth sharing. Thank you to all
who sponsored an event in February. Now we’ll be planning for more
March and April. Everyone is welcome to come to the planning meeting,
even if you are not sponsoring an event. However, if you would like to
sponsor an event, bring your ideas to the meeting. If you can’t make
the meeting, you can fill out the sponsorship form ahead of time or
contact Ed Balash to reserve a date for your event. Address: St.

Catholicism 101 – Baptism Explained

Immerse
yourself more fully into what you are called to be through your
Baptism. Learn how Baptism opens the door to the Church, the Sacraments
and the life of the Trinity, poured out. Learn the powerful effects of
Baptism. Become closer to God. Become more deeply involved in the
Church's mission of saving souls, beginning with your own. Fall in love
with God and the Church. Share that love with others. Fr. Michael
Donovan of the Mercedarians will be the main catechist, assisted by Ed
Ruic and Don Miller. Park in the lot on W 70th St.. Directly under the
Church is the hall, just go down the steps. The Catechism night will

Sacred Heart Mass & Holy Hour
7:30 p.m. Optional Get Together At Don & Karl's On W 70th St.
10:00 p.m. Mass & Holy Hour, Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel, Cleveland
Our
Lord has promised much to those who honor him on the First Friday of
each month. Join us at 10:00pm at Our Lady of Mt Carmel for Mass,
followed by adoration. Enter Our Lady of Mt Carmel through the East
door. Adoration optionally lasts until 6:30am Mass, but plan on staying
after Mass at least to pray the rosary and spend a few quiet moments

Dinner & Movie
5:30 p.m. Macedonia Cinemark & Applebee's
Go
to dinner and a movie with your fellow members and friends. The plan is
to see “Vantage Point” but this is flexible based on interest, show
times, and ticket availability. Please feel free to join us even if you
can't make dinner and we will keep an eye out for you at the
theater. We'll meet at 5:30pm at the movie theater box office to buy
tickets then we will walk across the parking lot to Applebee's for
dinner before the movie. Cinemark is located at 8161 Macedonia Commons
Blvd.. Applebee's is located at 7151 Macedonia Commons Blvd.. Take Rt.
82 exit off of 271-S. Go straight into the shopping plaza. The movie
theater and restaurant are on your left past Home Depot. The movie cost
is $8.25 and the cost of dinner is what you make of it. Please RSVP by

Nursing Home Visitation
Prayer Service: Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet & Stations Of The Cross
2:00 p.m. Lakewood Senior Health Campus (The Inn), Lakewood
Come
and participate in a Lenten prayer service featuring: the Sorrowful
Mysteries of the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, & Stations of the
Cross with your fellow members and some elderly residents at the
Lakewood Senior Health Campus. This is located on Bunts Rd. (West 140th
St.) in Lakewood across from Giant Eagle just South of Clifton Blvd. on
the East side of street. Look for Lakewood Senior Health Campus (The
Inn) sign in front of the building and take the long driveway until it
dead ends into last parking lot. Once you park, you can take the tunnel
to the building office. In addition to this prayer service, there are
other volunteer opportunities available at this nursing home, which
include spending time (reading to them, playing board games, etc.) with
lonely or confused seniors two nights per month. Remember God has
called us to minister to those in need - please open your hearts. For

Hour

Come
and visit with Jesus. He will be there in our presence. This is an
awesome spiritual event and a good event for inviting new members
too. We will adore our Lord united together in prayer through
recitation of the Rosary/Divine Mercy Chaplet and other beautiful
prayers & hymns. Don’t worry, we will have handouts of all the
prayers & hymns. Also, Father Franz will be available for
confession too. If you have a special prayer request that you want to
be presented to our Lord during the holy hour, please e-mail it to Bob.
The prayer request will be read aloud anonymously. We will pray for all
intentions. Following the Holy Hour will be fellowship at a local

Grounds for Faith: A coffee house for young adults!

Please join us at our next installment of Grounds for Faith on Friday, March 14th. Karla Bellinger will speak on the topic "Building Moral Muscles" Each
event is an opportunity for young adults to come together to listen to
a speaker, enjoy coffee and refreshments, discuss, and socialize.
After each event we go out afterwards to continue to discuss and
socialize. All single and married young adults are invited to attend.

celebrate this festive event with us and enjoy great food, great
friends, great games and great times. We will have the traditional
“Corned Beef & Cabbage” ready and waiting for all. This is a
potluck event so please bring whatever it is that you make best. Cakes,

away in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, our 2008 Hoe Down beckons
you to kick up your heals, put down your hoes, and be inspired by
another magical night of fun and friends. Dig up your "doe-si-doe digs"
- western attire, such as overalls and boots! Cost will be $8.00 if
payment is mailed by March 15th to Saint Rose YAG, c/o St. Stephen's
Church, 1930 West 54th Street, Cleveland, OH 44102; or $10 at the "log
cabin door" that evening. Our square dance will be held at Camp Corde,
